SIGNATURE TALKS

I’ve developed three signature talks and workshops based upon my book, Wailing & Wilding, A Dancer’s Dance with Gravity. Three keynotes are available:

WAILING & WILDING - Rituals of Remembrance (35-45 minutes)

The body knows how to grieve; we have just forgotten how. Learning to grive full heartedly requires listening to the body and creating rituals that allow us to embrace grief as a transformative process.

  • Three 10-minute blizzard talks: Wailing 101, Hand Dances from the Heart, Staring Down Death

  • Three Workshops:

    • Wailing and Laughing - A raucous playtime letting our emotions fly.

    • Rituals of Rememberance - Creating hand dances to honor our loved ones.

    • Writing our Best Obituary - Playfully making our life’s story come alive.

WAILING & WILDING - Listening to our bones (35-45 minutes)

Paying attention to the physical cues of our body allosws us to reclaim or intuitive wisdom. Trusting the acrhitectural structure of our bones grounds us to this earth. The body always knows— listening to the gut rumbling alerts us to danger and the weight of our hearts signals the possibilities of love.

  • Three 10-minute blizzard talks: Forever Bones, Heartache, Tough Skin

  • Three workshops:

    • Grounding Bodies & Souls - Connecting to the pull of gravity.

    • Moving from the Heart - Cultivating the sensation of love.

    • Softening the Skin - Activating sensations of touch.

WAILING & WILDING - The Witchy Dancing with aging (35-45 minutes)

Aging accelerates perceived losses, and yet decades of experience also provide a springboard toward the largest bounce back of our lives. Owning our ageing bodies and minds unleashes our power to become wild once again.

  • Three 10-minute blizzard talks: Witchy Dancing, Re-Wilding, Witchy Flying School

  • Three workshops:

    • Witchy Dancing - Activating springy joints to build a bounce back of resilience.

    • Re-Wilding - A playground of play, returning to our innate silliness, laughter and joy.

    • Witchy Flying School - Learn to fly with a kite, a broom, a stool, a partner.
